Description
JE Good Park Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-71 municipal layout in Akron, Ohio, designed by Bertie Wey and opened in 1924. The course plays through tree-lined fairways with dog-legs, bunkers, and subtly contoured greens. Hole 10 is regarded as the hardest and signature hole on the property. Golf Digest has awarded the course a four-star rating for Public Courses, and it ranks as one of the most-played courses in Ohio on Hole19. JE Good Park has hosted the Summit County Amateur Golf Championship, the Summit County Senior Amateur Golf Championship, the Good Park Junior Tournament, and the Good Park Club Championship. Edgar's Bar and Restaurant, with its patio, serves as the on-site dining option. The pro shop carries golfer's essentials. A deck overlooks the 9th green.
