Description
Designed by John Darby and opened in 2008, Jack's Point Golf Course sits in Kawarau Falls, Otago, New Zealand, playing 18 holes at par 72 across 6,388–6,986 yards of tussock grasslands, schist outcrops, bluffs, and native bush. The course was ranked number two in New Zealand by New Zealand Golf Magazine in 2020 and won the IAGTO 2019 Sustainability Award for Nature Protection. It is rated 4.9 by 60+ Hole19 golfers and is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Otago. A warm-up range with complimentary range balls and a practice putting green are both available in the hour before tee time. NZPGA-qualified professional coaching, individual or group, is available by appointment. The clubhouse includes a golf shop stocking men's and women's apparel and accessories, men's and women's locker rooms, and Jack's Restaurant, open daily for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner.

CRAIG BEINKEAugust 16, 2025Hands down, best course I have played. Course was in immaculate condition, even though they are coming out of winter. From tee to green this course impresses - dramatic views of The snow-capped Remarkables, ridiculous elevation changes, tight fairways and pure greens! In my opinion, Jack’s Point easily out-plays the likes of Pebble Beach, Beth Page Black, and more. Absolute buck-list, must play for any serious golf fan!
