Ironwood Golf & Country Club

Ironwood Golf & Country Club is a private 18-hole course in Greenville, North Carolina, designed by Lee Trevino and opened in 1996. The layout plays to a par 72 from 6,712 to 7,102 yards across rolling wooded terrain shaped by the Tar River, ponds, old oaks, and beech trees. The club has held the Voted Best Golf Course award every year from 2019 through 2025. Practice facilities include a driving range renovated in 2024 and a putting green with chipping area and practice bunkers, both redone in summer 2024. Golf instruction is available for outings, and a Junior Golf Program offers free clinics. The clubhouse includes a members-only restaurant with a formal dining room, a golfers grill, an outside terrace and lounge, and a bar area with panoramic views overlooking the 18th hole. A full-service pro shop and men's and women's locker rooms are also on site.
