Ironclad Golf

Ironclad Golf, a public 18-hole course in North Carolina, United States, has been part of the local golf landscape since 1970. Designed by Russell T. Burney, the layout runs in a figure-eight configuration and stretches to 6,353 yards at a par of 71. The 5th hole stands out for its views of the Intracoastal Waterway from the green. Practice options include a 25-tee lighted driving range with outdoor seating, fire tables, and a beer and snack shack, plus a putting green and chipping green. Junior Golf Clinics are available for younger players. The Golf Shack pro shop handles snacks, beverages, beer, golf essentials, club rentals, and push cart rentals. Off the course, the Ironclad Beer Garden spans 30,000 square feet — one of the largest beer gardens in North Carolina — and accommodates over 500 guests across a multi-level outdoor venue with live music and community events. Shaka Taco connects directly to the beer garden and provides fresh food with indoor seating and outdoor patio dining. Six lighted pickleball courts are also on site.
