Indian Hills Golf & Tennis Club

Indian Hills Golf & Tennis Club is a semi-private 18-hole course in Paxinos, Pennsylvania, set among hundreds of mature trees that give the layout a distinctive, wooded character. The club has deep roots in the region. In 1922, a group of local businessmen purchased a tract of wooded farmland with the aim of building a golf course, and the first charter was granted in 1923 under the name Shamokin Valley Country Club. The course originally played as nine holes with two sets of tee boxes per hole before being expanded to its current 18-hole layout in the early 1970s. Beyond the course itself, Indian Hills has earned a strong reputation for its food and service, making it a well-rounded destination for members and visitors alike. Improvements to the course are made on a continuing basis to maintain its standing as one of the best options in the area.
