Ilkley Golf Club

Ilkley Golf Club, founded in 1898 in Ilkley, England, was shaped by three of golf's most respected designers: Harry Colt, Alister Mackenzie, and James Braid. The course runs to 6,271–6,276 yards from the whites across 18 holes, with semi-private access. The opening hole sets the tone early, with the River Wharfe running the full length of the left-hand side, a dogleg right, and a strategically positioned fairway bunker. Hole 15 carries particular historical weight, having been refined by Alister Mackenzie in both 1911 and 1926. The club ranks among the best in Yorkshire according to the Top 100 Golf Courses website. PGA professionals provide coaching for golfers of all abilities, with availability from 7:00am to 8:00pm on selected days, six days a week. A golf studio with a TrackMan 4 simulator is available for hire, with complimentary mini bar included on bookings. The clubhouse includes The Terrace Bar and the 19th, both well-stocked, with bar meals, Sky TV, and lounge areas.
