Idabel Country Club

Idabel Country Club, incorporated by the State of Oklahoma on September 13, 1949, was established to operate and maintain Idabel's public golf course. What began as a nine-hole layout with sand greens and open fairways has grown into a full 18-hole course open to all golfers. The original nine holes were transformed over the years by the planting of thousands of pine trees, which tightened the fairways considerably and placed a real premium on accurate tee shots. The back nine, added in the late 1990s, offers a more open feel, though water comes into play on several holes, adding a different kind of challenge to the round.
