Hwasan Country Club

Hwasan Country Club is an 18-hole course in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, designed to work with the natural contours of its site rather than against them. The lower section of the course occupies gently rolling terrain, where holes, water features, and open turf create a softer, more flowing feel. Moving upward, the landscape shifts dramatically — valleys, rock faces, and dense woodland define a rugged mountain layout that demands a different kind of golf altogether. This contrast between the two distinct zones was intentional from the start, with planners applying a land-use concept that let each area of the property express its own character.
