Hirakata Kokusai Golf Club

Hirakata Kokusai Golf Club is an 18-hole hillside course located in Hirakata, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, set at the foot of Mount Ikoma. The course was renovated in December 2007 with bent grass greens and offers a varied layout that changes character between the two nines. The front nine plays relatively flat, with the exception of the downhill fifth and uphill sixth holes. The back nine makes full use of the natural terrain, introducing more elevation change throughout, with uphill and downhill shots, valley carries, and dogleg holes that keep each hole feeling distinct. The surrounding mountains add seasonal colour, with cherry blossoms and azaleas in spring and autumn foliage later in the year.
