Higo Sun Valley Country Club

Higo Sun Valley Country Club is an 18-hole course carved through forested terrain at an average elevation of 250 metres in Aso District, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. The layout is well-separated between holes and largely free of significant elevation change — the notable exception being the uphill 4th on the front nine. The par-3 12th stands out for its valley-carry challenge, and each hole has a distinct character that rewards strategic thinking. Most holes are served by two greens, one bentgrass and one korai. Fairways and greens both feature subtle undulation throughout, meaning accurate reading is essential on approach shots and putts alike.
