Helderberg Village Golf Course

Helderberg Village Golf Course is an 18-hole layout in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa, with roots going back to the late 1980s when it was designed by an associate of Bob Grimsdell alongside the original developers of Helderberg Village. The Golf Club was formed in 1989, with play beginning on select holes that year and the first sponsored competition held in December 1990. Since those early days, successive golf committees have worked to develop and refine the course. Alternate tees were added in the mid-1990s to enable full 18-hole rounds, and the course has since matured into one of the more scenic and challenging in the Western Cape. Tees and greens are in excellent condition, fairways are true and fair, and the trees and gardens have grown into a well-established setting. The course is surrounded by views that take in the Helderberg mountain, False Bay, and Cape Town's Table Mountain.
