Hayfields Country Club

Hayfields Country Club in Maryland was founded in 1998 by the Mangione Family on a historic estate featuring the Hayfields Mansion and five additional buildings, all predating 1800. The Mansion serves as the main clubhouse and dining area, while the renovated original structures house the Grill Room, Pro Shop, and other facilities. The championship 18-hole course stretches over 7,000 yards and has hosted six PGA Champions Tour events, drawing legends such as Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, Hale Irwin, Lee Trevino, and Tom Kite. Bent grass runs from tee to green throughout, with 68 bunkers, 6 ponds, and generous fairways framed by native grass areas that recall the Timothy Hay once cultivated on the farm. The practice facility overlooks Oregon Ridge and includes a driving range with both grass and matted tees, alongside oversized putting and chipping greens bordered by a historic stone wall that once enclosed the farm's gardens and orchards.
