The club has hosted several tournaments including the Cockies Classic, Mixed Foursomes, Hurunui Plate, and Boyle Cup. Hole 5, known as The Pines, carries a local tradition: hit the large gum tree on the left — the Gin Tree — and your playing partners each earn a shot of gin.
