Harvey Penick Golf Campus

Harvey Penick Golf Campus is a public 9-hole course in Austin, Texas, opened in 2005. Playing to a par of 30, the layout runs through a wooded valley and crosses Walnut Creek three times, with the terrain largely flat inside the valley aside from the hill leading in and out of it. Hole 1 sets the tone: a dogleg-left par 4 with a fairway just 25 yards wide, a lateral water hazard on the left, and out of bounds on the right. Practice options are extensive for a 9-hole facility. A grass or mat driving range, two practice greens (one putting, one chipping), a 3-hole short course, and classes, clinics, and individual lessons are all available. A pro shop and a 4,000 sq. ft. pavilion with electrical hookup near the pro shop round out the on-site amenities. Harvey Penick Golf Campus is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Texas.
