Hampton Heights Golf Course

Hampton Heights Golf Course has been a fixture in Hickory, North Carolina since the late 1960s, offering 18 holes near Lenoir Rhyne University. The front nine is walkable and relatively straightforward, while the back nine shifts to rolling terrain with uphill and downhill shots that demand more from your game. Despite a yardage well short of 7,000 yards, the course still tests all aspects of your game if you want to score well. Since 1977, Greens Superintendent Joe Herman and his staff have dedicated considerable time each week to keeping the course in strong condition and maintaining the equipment — a point of pride for the club.
