Description
Hamilton Island Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 71 course widely regarded as one of the most challenging in the world, set across the ridges and steep valleys of Dent Island in the Whitsundays, Queensland. Designed by five-time British Open winner Peter Thomson, the layout works with the natural terrain rather than against it. Golfers contend with wicked winds, impenetrable bushland, and dramatic elevation changes throughout the round. The 14th hole has earned the nickname 'Valley of Death' — a measure of just how demanding the course can play.
