Hakone Kohan Golf Course is an 18-hole hillside layout in Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, where bentgrass fairways stay a vivid green throughout the year. The outward nine winds through dense woodland, with bold elevation changes — steep climbs and sharp drops — defining much of the character. The 5th tee sits at the course's highest point, offering a sweeping view across Lake Ashi, Owakudani, and the Sengokuhara plateau. The inward nine is comparatively flat but demands precision.
