Gweedore Golf Club

Gweedore Golf Club is an 18-hole links course set in the heart of the Donegal Gaeltacht, where the natural landscape does much of the design work. A revamp in 2014, supported by An Roinn Ealaion Oidhreachta agus Gaeltachta, sharpened the layout while preserving its raw, unspoilt character — making it one of the most natural links courses in County Donegal. The setting is hard to match. On one side, the rugged Atlantic shoreline and surrounding islands stretch into view; on the other, Mount Errigal rises as a constant backdrop. The course sits alongside some of Ireland's most picturesque beaches, carved directly from the land rather than imposed upon it. Golfers of all abilities are welcomed here, and the club prides itself on the warmth of its Ceád Míle Fáilte.
