Greenwich Country Club, a private 18-hole club in Greenwich, Connecticut, traces its roots to 1892, when it was founded as the Fairfield County Golf Club. Under the leadership of its first president, Julian W. Curtiss, what began as a five-hole backyard operation grew into a full-scale club set across more than 165 acres of peaceful knolls. Today the club operates as a family-oriented private facility offering a broad range of amenities alongside the golf course. Members have access to a driving range, racquets courts covering tennis, squash, and paddle, a swimming pool, and dining and social facilities.
