Hole 17 at Grand Summit Golf & Country Club sets the tone for what this private 18-hole course in Grandview, Missouri does throughout its layout: elevation changes that shift the game entirely, playing anywhere from 97 to 219 yards depending on tee selection. Designed by Lyndy Lindsey, the par-72 layout stretches from 5,549 to 6,982 yards across rolling terrain lined with large trees and rocky creeks. Several holes carry their own character. Hole 3 runs a gauntlet of moguls left and out of bounds on both sides. Hole 7 plays from an elevated tee with a lake flanking the left, rewarding or punishing the risk. Hole 9 bends sharply right around a large lake with the clubhouse in view. Hole 10 brings white rock beds and a severely sloping green. Hole 12 crosses a creek twice on the fairway with out of bounds in play. Hole 16 drops 60 feet down to the green. The course is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Missouri.
