Grand Cypress Golf at Evermore Resort (Links) is an 18-hole course in Orlando, Florida, designed by Jack Nicklaus as a tribute to the Old Course at St. Andrews, Scotland. Set in an open meadow, the layout captures the feel of Scottish links golf through double greens, stone bridges and walls, gorse mounds, burns, and pot bunkers that reach up to 12 feet deep. With 150 pot bunkers spread across the course, accuracy off the tee is essential — generous landing areas exist, but a wayward shot will find sand quickly. Water comes into play only occasionally, but proves demanding when it does. Trees are sparse within the interior, keeping the open, windswept character of a true links layout intact.
