Golfresort Haugschlag (Haugschlag) is an 18-hole resort course in Lower Austria, Austria, rated 4.7 by 60+ Hole19 golfers and a past host of the Austrian Open PGA European Tour. The layout moves through natural ponds, romantic forests, and the characteristic wobbly stones of the Waldviertel region. Hole 18 plays to an island green — the Inselgreen — which can be viewed from the clubhouse terrace. The Clubhaus Restaurant serves seasonal dishes and fish from local lakes. Practice facilities include a dedicated driving range, putting green, and chipping green. Golfschule Haugschlag provides instruction through Head Professional Peter Wiethoff and Professional Tom Moler. The course has been recognised as Golf Course of the Year and is listed among Leading Golfcourses Austria.
