Golfclub Traunsee Kirchham

Golfclub Traunsee Kirchham opened in 1989 in the alpine foothills of Upper Austria, sitting at over 500 meters elevation. The 18-hole layout plays between 4,670 and 5,327 meters and incorporates water hazards and bunkers across the terrain. Access is semi-private. Practice facilities include a driving range, putting greens, chipping greens, and a 3-hole par-3 practice facility. The golf school is run by PGA Professionals Jan Steyn and Maximilian Mayer, offering individual lessons and group courses. The clubhouse hosts the Wirtshaus am Kampesberg, a public restaurant serving traditional cuisine with a sun terrace and panoramic views. The warm kitchen runs Wednesday to Saturday 11:00–20:45 and Sunday and holidays 11:00–18:30. A small pro shop carries gloves, golf balls, logo balls, and accessories. Parking includes two E-charging stations, and RV parking with power connections is available. The course is scheduled to host the Austrian Amateur Open 2026.
