Golf & Sport Club Pinkbay Trenčín

Golf & Sport Club Pinkbay Trenčín is a 9-hole course set in the heart of Trenčín, Slovakia, built on a former neglected riverside area along the Váh. Designed with the existing levy in mind, the layout was shaped with input from course architects Kyle Phillips, Mark Thawley, and Peter Scott, and can be walked and played in around 1.5 hours. The course runs through a natural floodplain with native woodland and gravel areas, seeded with a fescue mix that echoes the character of early Scottish links golf. This approach keeps maintenance low and water use minimal, while giving the layout a settled, lived-in feel. From the fairways, players enjoy clear views of Trenčín Castle, the Váh river, and the old dam. The shorter holes make it accessible to all generations, and its central location removes the need for long travel before or after a round.
