Golf International Barrière La Baule (Diane Barrière-Desseigne) sits on the edge of the Parc Naturel Régional de la Brière in Saint-André-des-Eaux, spreading across 220 hectares with three courses to explore. The facility is one of the largest golf centres in France and is open year-round. The 18-hole Diane Barrière-Desseigne course is the centrepiece, with nine of its holes winding along a five-hectare lake. The layout was shaped by architects Peter Aliss, Dave Thomas, and Michel Gayon. A clubhouse with restaurant and pool is on site, along with personalised coaching. For newcomers, the Pass Évasion offers a 30-minute discovery session from 12:00 to 12:30, open to beginners aged six and up. The course is a 15-minute drive from the Hôtel Le Royal.
