Golf du Lys Chantilly (Les Chênes)

Golf du Lys Chantilly (Les Chênes) is an 18-hole semi-private course in Lamorlaye, Hauts-de-France, France, designed by Tom Simpson and opened in 1929. The layout runs through tree-lined fairways with bunkers built into grassed mounds and deceptive flat areas that can mislead club selection. Three holes stand out: hole 9, where a good drive opens an eagle opportunity; hole 12, a short par 4 played from a back tee with a dominant view; and hole 17, known as the 'judge of peace', which demands a long drive to reach the green in two.
