Description
Golf del Sur is one of the most-played courses in the Canary Islands on Hole19, and its 18 competitive holes in Tenerife have hosted high-level international tournaments since the course opened in 1987. The layout rewards attention. Fairways are wide, greens are generous in size, and the black volcanic sand bunkers give the course a distinctive local character. Two lakes add meaningful difficulty, and out-of-bounds runs close to several fairways keeps scoring honest. A standout hole is the par-4 5th on the Links nine — 330 metres played from a tee elevated high enough to take in open ocean views, with hazards pressing in on both sides of the fairway. Fabian Schinzel-SchieferNovember 20, 2025Sehr langsame Flights, was das Spiel etwas zäh gemacht hat. Die Back 9 sind im Umbau und aktuell ohne Bäume, wodurch der Platz an Charakter verliert. Bin gespannt, wie alles nächstes Jahr aussieht, wenn die Arbeiten abgeschlossen sind.
