Golf de Saumane

Hole 17 at Golf de Saumane crosses the Carpentras canal, and hole 7 is rated the most difficult on the course — two markers that give a sense of what Jean Garaïalde built here when the course opened in 1989 in Saumane-de-Vaucluse, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France. The 18-hole layout stretches to 6,191 metres from the white tees across rolling hills and rocky escarpments, with pine trees, olive trees, lavender, rosemary, laurel and rose bushes shaping the playing corridors throughout.
