Description
Golf de la Grande Romanie is an 18-hole links-style course set in the chalky plains of Champagne, just outside the village of Courtisols and roughly 15 minutes from Châlons-en-Champagne in Grand Est, France. Founded in 1987, it draws inspiration from Scottish links design and plays over a limestone subsoil that keeps it open year-round. The layout stretches to 6,145 metres from the white tees, placing it among the longest courses in France. Elevated greens, wide fairways, and a high density of bunkers create a technically demanding round, with optical illusions adding an extra layer of challenge. The course suits all levels while still offering a genuine test for experienced players. It is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Grand Est.

Claude VoisinJuly 04, 2019Le parcours est recommandé pour des frappeurs et amateurs de grandes distances. Ce ci n'enlève n aucun cas certaines difficultés techniques et il est bon de s'en souvenir tout au long de la partie. Les greens sont excellents (c'est un régal), et il est important d'en tenir compte pour ses putts. Un petit bémol par contre pour le fairway, ou la sécheresse de ces dernières semaines à peut être une part de responsabilité......
