Golf de Castres-Gourjade

Golf de Castres-Gourjade sits in Castres, Occitanie, France, and is open to golfers of all levels on its 9-hole layout designed by Yves Bureau and opened in 1992. The Agout river runs through the course, crossing hole 4 directly, and the layout plays across vast greens. Practice facilities are a clear strength here. The driving range runs across 2 hectares with 36 positions, 16 of them covered. A short-game area includes a 3-hole course at 100/150 and 50 metres for approach and putting work. The golf school, labeled by the French Golf Federation, is run by Guillaume Laquais, a state-certified instructor, with programmes for children from age 5 and adults. The school won the Challenge National des Écoles de Golf in 2021 and placed second in both 2022 and 2023. At the clubhouse, Le Bar du Club serves beverages, ice cream in season, and charcuterie boards. The pro shop is open daily with shoes, balls, textiles, and equipment.
