Golf de Caen La Mer (Plaine Vallon) sits in Biéville-Beuville, Normandy, France, and ranks as one of the most-played courses in Normandy on Hole19. Designed by Fred Hawtree and opened in 1990, the 18-hole, par-71 layout stretches 5,986 metres across wooded terrain with elevation changes, open fairways, and bunkers. Practice facilities are extensive: a 250-metre driving range with 35 bays (18 covered), a putting green, three short-game approach zones, two practice holes, and a golf academy with structured learning programmes. The clubhouse includes a panoramic restaurant open Monday to Sunday, serving à la carte dishes and a daily special at lunch, alongside a bar. A seminar room accommodates up to 30 in workshop layout or 80 in theatre configuration. The course has hosted the Championnat de Normandie U16, Championnats de France U16, and the Challenge Dessange.
