Description
Designed by Jean Bourret, Golf d'Angers is an 18-hole, par-72 semi-private course in Saint-Jean-des-Mauvrets, Pays de la Loire, France. It stretches to 5,362 metres across terrain that mixes woods, water features, and historic landmarks — dolmens mark holes 1 and 9, while hole 11 plays past a tower and well. An ancient mill is also part of the setting. The course holds the Golf for Biodiversity label (2024) and has been a Golfy network member since 2017. It is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Pays de la Loire. Two independent professional instructors are based on site, along with adult beginner courses and a children's golf school welcoming over 40 children aged 4 to 18. The Restaurant du Moulin serves lunch, with indoor dining and panoramic course views from November to April, and outdoor terrace service from May to October. It is closed on Mondays.
