Golf d'Albret

Golf d'Albret is an 18-hole course in Barbaste, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, set across a varied landscape that rewards exploration at every turn. The course winds through ancient oaks, acacia groves, and Landes pines, with water hazards framed by willows and open views across wild hillsides. From one elevated tee, the village of Lausseignan comes into view — its church tower rising above the trees, with only a few lime-washed facades and deep-red rooftops visible through the greenery. Elsewhere, fairways run alongside Gascon vineyards and greens sit in the cool shade of oak canopies. The sandy, free-draining soil means play is possible throughout the year, making Golf d'Albret a reliable destination whatever the season.
