Golf Club Hermitage

Designed by Paolo De Ferrari and opened in 1980, Golf Club Hermitage is a 9-hole semi-private course in Tuscany, Italy, on the island of Elba. The layout runs across hillside paths with elevation changes, artificial lakes, and sea views throughout the nine holes. Hole 8 is a standout, its green positioned with a panorama over the Biodola and Scaglieri gulf extending to Capraia Island. Yardage plays between 1,275 and 1,300 meters. The course has hosted a full calendar of competitions, including the Trofeo Locman, Coppa Acqua dell'Elba, Trofeo Rubinetterie Nobili, and Coppa dei Maestri di Golf, among others. Practice facilities include a driving range with 10 covered stations and 3 grass stations — the latter with floating balls for water practice — plus a putting green and a pitching green. Individual and group lessons are available, along with introductory courses for beginners and advanced courses for skill certification.
