Golf Club Goldwin

Golf Club Goldwin is an 18-hole hillside and woodland course in Oyabe, Toyama Prefecture, Japan. The layout is generally flat, but rolling fairways and mounded rough push the difficulty well beyond what the yardage alone suggests. The outward nine opens with a stern test at the 2nd hole, where the tee shot must carry a valley and the approach must find a fairway that falls away short of the green — keeping the ball on the flat is essential for any chance at par. The 5th, a left-bending par 4, places a premium on a well-placed drive. Inward, the par-3 12th stands out for its length, narrow entrance, and a prevailing headwind that compounds both. The 15th par 3 is another demanding short hole. The round closes on the 18th, where an island green provides a memorable finishing hole.
