Description
Golf Club Genova - St Anna is a private 18-hole, par-71 course in Liguria, Italy, designed by Robert Von Hagge and measuring 5,921 meters. The layout moves through olive trees, oaks, and hillocks, with lakes coming into play and the sea visible on the horizon. Hole 2, known as the Signature Hole del Percorso Mare, requires a carry over a wide lake between tee and green, with a green stretching over 50 meters defended by a deep bunker. Practice facilities are extensive. The driving range runs over 250 meters with 7 covered and 20 uncovered positions. Two putting greens are available, one with 18 holes designed for varied slope conditions. Two approach areas cover 5,000 square meters in total, supporting all shot types up to 90 meters. Professionals and Masters-supervised coaching are available for players at any stage. The clubhouse includes a 25-meter swimming pool with changing rooms and showers, and a terrace overlooking hole 9.

Emel KaraJuly 07, 2022Sehr schöner Platz aber leider nicht gut gepflegt. Die Bunker sind überwachsen. Mit Car kann man nur über den Weg fahren, lohnt sich deshalb nicht eins zu mieten. Die Fairways sind linkscourse… die greens sind aber super, mittelschwer bis schwere Löcher…
Alessandro PrianoDecember 22, 2021Quite technical course: the front nine (“mare” = sea) are more of a links course, while the back nine (“monti” = mountains) have severe slopes and front water to cross. Almost every hole is sided by no play zone or out of bound, that makes the accuracy the most important skill to have on this course. Recently the whole course has been revamped and it’s getting better every month. A must go course for every golfer near Genoa.
