Golf Club Domaine Impérial

Golf Club Domaine Impérial was officially inaugurated in May 1988 with a long drive by Severiano Ballesteros, and has since become one of Switzerland's most prominent golf destinations. The 18-hole course sits on the shores of Lake Geneva, roughly halfway between Lausanne and Geneva in Gland, Vaud. It was designed by Pete Dye, one of the most respected golf architects in the world, who shaped the layout to make the most of the natural setting while respecting strict ecological requirements imposed by local authorities. The clubhouse carries a distinctive historical character, bearing traces of the Napoleon family's long presence on the estate. Together with the lakeside location and the quality of the facilities, these elements give Domaine Impérial a singular identity within Swiss golf.
