Golf Club de Lausanne

Golf Club de Lausanne is a private 18-hole course in Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland, opened in 1921 and considered among the most beautiful courses in Switzerland. Situated at 850 meters elevation, the layout is bordered by century-old trees across varied terrain. Holes 4, 5, and 6 illustrate the design's character: hole 4 plays to a green divided into three plateaus with grass bunkers on the right; hole 5 is a slight dog-leg right with a two-level design and vast flat green; hole 6 is a double dog-leg left with six bunkers around the green. The course has hosted the Swiss International Amateur Championship and the Club Championship. A practice area is available, closed Sunday from 18h00 to Monday 9h00. The pro shop is open Tuesday through Saturday 9h00–12h00 and 13h00–18h00, and Sunday 9h00–12h00 and 13h00–17h30; closed Monday. The restaurant serves traditional cuisine with seasonal products from a terrace and glass veranda, open daily May 1 to October 31 from 8h00 to midnight.
