Golf Club de L'Hirondelle

Golf Club de L'Hirondelle is an 18-hole semi-private course set in rolling, wooded terrain near Angoulême, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. The layout moves through a hilly, tree-lined landscape that shapes play throughout the round. Practice options include a driving range (from €4.00), a putting green, and short-game areas — all with free or low-cost access. The club also runs a labelled golf academy led by pro Cédric Faret, with around 60 junior students aged 6 to 18. The clubhouse bar is open daily, running 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in spring and summer and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in autumn and winter. A 100 m² covered terrace and a cosy interior space are available, and the venue can be privatised for weddings, birthdays, and corporate dinners.
