Hole 17, named Crow's Nest, puts golfers on the highest elevated tee shot on the course, looking out over Western Colorado — a useful signal of what Jim Engh built at Golf Club at Redlands Mesa, a public 18-hole layout in Grand Junction, Colorado. Engh routed the course across red-rock mesas with canyon views and desert rock shaping the terrain throughout. Hole 14, called Temptation, offers a daring shortcut over desert rock. Hole 15, Treasure, is the course's best scoring opportunity. Hole 16, Trial, brings water, a trench, and an uphill approach. Practice facilities include grass tee hitting areas, a chipping zone, a short game area, and a practice putting green. A pavilion handles registration and awards.
