GNK - Mar Menor Golf

GNK - Mar Menor Golf is an 18-hole par 72 course in the Region of Murcia, Spain, located near Torre Pacheco and just 5 km from the Mar Menor lagoon. The layout covers around 59 hectares, with 45 hectares of playing surface and a maximum length of 6,153 metres. The course was designed by two different hands, giving each nine a distinct character. The front nine, designed by David Thomas, plays to a par 37 over 3,275 metres at its longest. Tight fairways with minimal rough demand accuracy off the tee, while well-bunkered greens and surrounding lakes add further challenge. The back nine, by Nicklaus Design, is a par 35 of 2,878 metres and opens up considerably, with wider fairways and more generous rough. A large lake encircling holes 13, 14, and 15 is the standout obstacle, while strategic bunkers protect the remaining holes. A popular round among Hole19 golfers in Region of Murcia, the course holds an average rating of 4.3 on the platform.
