Fuji Royal Country Club (West) is an 18-hole hillside course located in Nanbu, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, forming one half of a 36-hole complex alongside its East counterpart. Despite the varied elevation across the property, the routing is cleverly designed to minimize the sense of steep climbing or descending, keeping the round comfortable throughout. Holes are separated by cypress-dominant woodland, which adds definition and a sense of seclusion between fairways. The layout incorporates dogleg holes alongside carries over valleys and water hazards, providing enough variety to hold interest from the first hole to the last.
