Friend Country Club

Friend Country Club is a 9-hole semi-private course in Nebraska, United States, opened in 1967. Tree-lined fairways, greenside and fairway bunkers, and water hazards on two holes define the layout. Several holes stand out. The opening hole is a par 5 of 470 yards with a slight dogleg left and water protecting the front of the green. Hole 3 plays as a par 4 from an elevated tee box to a very deep green. Hole 4 is a par 3 of 150 yards — 175 from the back tee — with a water hazard short of the green. The club hosts a wide calendar of tournaments, including the FCC Spring Kickoff Tournament, the Justin Stineman Memorial Tournament, the Firecracker Open, and the Ortmeier Memorial Tournament, among many others. The pro shop is open weather permitting Monday through Sunday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. The bar runs Wednesday through Saturday from 5:30 pm to 1:00 am and on Sundays from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Brunch is served on the third Sunday of each month from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
