Fox Hollow Golf Club

Rated among the top Northeast golf courses by readers of Garden State Golf, Fox Hollow Golf Club in New Jersey draws consistent praise from the golfers who play it. Designed by Hal C. Purdy and opened in 1966, this 18-hole public course plays to a par of 70. The layout has been a reader-recognized name in regional golf for years. Practice options are solid. The driving range runs year-round on four permanent mats, expanding in season to 20 grass tees with four flagged target greens. A spacious putting green and a bunkered practice green are both on site. Golf lessons are available from the Head PGA Professional and staff. The grill room serves classic favorites — including an 8 oz. Angus burger — with views of the 9th and 18th greens, and is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11AM to 4PM. A full-service bar is also available.
