Played the Aylesford for the 1st time yesterday. Not a bad course but can’t help feeling it’s never going to be improved sufficiently enough to make it worth playing whilst it sits in the shadow of the Arden. The fairways are good and the design and layout of the course is well thought out and these are all positives. Negatives are the greens which are all very different in terms of the speed, the bunkers where there is very little sand and finally the noise from M6. Overall I would rate it a 3 star.

This is an excellent course, Lovely views and not that easy for a course with only 2 par 5's.
