Ford's Colony Country Club (Marsh Hawk) has hosted the 1998 and 1999 Virginia State Open, as well as the PGA Tour's Michelob Championship Monday Qualifier — a tournament record that reflects the course's standing in Virginia golf. Designed by Dan Maples and opened in 1984, this 18-hole, par-72 semi-private layout in Virginia, United States features narrow fairways, well-placed bunkers, natural lakes, elevation changes, and a tree-lined layout. Hole 12 stands out with water carries the entire way to the green. A Golf Performance Center offering golf instruction is available, shared with the broader Ford's Colony facility. Casual dining is available at Murdoch's Tavern & Patio.

Vince CapanelliOctober 14, 2018Course was beautiful—- green fast receptive fairways full - over all a great course!! Challenging but fair. HOWEVER... a four some jumped in front of us 2 men 2 ladies and according to the marshal they were “members” and playing in a couple tournament making us waiting every hole and finished a 5 1/2 hour round. Members or not they were very inconsiderate and ... terrible golfers.
