Feng Yuan Golf & Country Club

Feng Yuan Golf & Country Club, founded in 1962, holds the distinction of being the first golf course in central Taiwan. Set on the Gonglaoping Plateau east of Fengyuan in Taichung City, this 18-hole layout enjoys a mild climate — warm in winters and cool in summers — and is easily reached via Highway 4. The front nine offers open views across the Fengyuan area, with Taichung Port visible on clear days. The back nine shifts the scenery toward Shih-kang Dam and, when conditions allow, the distant Daxue Mountain. Fairways throughout overlook the surrounding landscape, giving the round a consistently scenic character.
