Description
Fairview Country Club, a private 18-hole course in Greenwich, Connecticut, was designed by Robert Trent Jones and has hosted the 1930 Met Open and the 1959 Met Amateur. The layout moves through wooded terrain with water hazards, ponds, bunkers, and elevated greens recurring across the round. Hole 2, a par five, is cut through the woods with a large pond dominating the final 100 yards. Hole 5 is a short par five with a divided fairway and a large pond on the left side. The clubhouse restaurant is led by executive chef Jeff Perez and includes an outdoor dining terrace with golf course views. BAR 1904 offers casual dining with an a la carte menu and cocktails, with a terrace overlooking the pool deck.
