Evergreen Country Club has hosted the Virginia State Open Championship, Virginia State Four-Ball Championship, USGA Senior Amateur Qualifier, and USGA U.S. Amateur Qualifier, among others — a tournament record that reflects the course's standing in Virginia golf. Designed by Algie Pulley and opened in 1968, this private 18-hole, par-72 layout sits at the base of Bull Run Mountain in Virginia, United States. It stretches to 7,096 yards and is built on a figure-eight routing with no parallel fairways, producing a varied sequence of holes. Water comes into play on 6 of the 18 holes, and elevation changes add further complexity throughout the round. Practice facilities include a grass driving range, a 7,000 sq. ft. putting green, and short game practice areas. The professional staff offers group and individual instruction. The golf shop carries an extensive selection of equipment, clothing, and accessories. A lounge and locker rooms are also available on site.
