Description
Eslövs Golfklubb offers an 18-hole course known as Ellingebanan, set on historic grounds near Ellinge in Skåne County, Sweden. The estate dates back to the 12th century, and the current castle is visible from holes 11 and 12. The front nine plays over open, relatively flat terrain, while the back nine shifts into a more rolling parkland and woodland setting. Eight of the inward holes run alongside the Bråån river, giving the course a strong natural character with varied flora and fauna. The course was founded in 1968 and designed by architect Ture Bruce, who also created Barsebäck GCC and Landskrona GK.
